About Us
IFPEB was created in 2007, following up the Grenelle Environment Forum. The Institute came about as a result of major real estate, construction and energy sectors players’ demand to accelerate the emergence of new practices and succeed in their environmental transition. The founders wanted to build an operational excellence hub with the objective of reconciling environmental best practices and operational realities in order to accelerate the emergence of new markets. Over 10 years later, the Institute is now leading more than a dozen joint projects, all of them focused on learning through experimentation and making a positive contribution to the public debate by highlighting the operational realities of the best practitioners.
A dedicated team
Governing board
The governing board, which is composed of operational managers from its member companies, steers the Institute’s work. It spearheads proposals about work in progress and decides on the Institute’s contributions to the public debate. Networking and day-to-day work on the issues dealt with by the Institute is carried out by the technical community at participating companies.
